Collection: Hari Singh Nalwa

Hari Singh Nalwa (1791–1837) was the legendary general of Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s Khalsa Army. Known for his unmatched bravery and military skill, he protected the Sikh Empire’s northwest frontier and was the only commander to conquer regions like Peshawar and Jamrud, which even the Mughals and Afghans struggled to control. His name struck fear in the hearts of enemies, especially in Afghanistan, where mothers used to say, “Chup kar, nahi ta Hari Singh aa javega!” ("Be quiet, or Hari Singh will come"). His legacy lives on as a symbol of fearlessness, loyalty, and strength
